Our Company History

BlackRock Excavating is an excavation company that has deep roots in the excavating industry. We were founded by Doug Casscles, Jr., a Hudson Valley local who has over 15 years of experience working in the excavation and sewage industry. Doug’s experience and knowledge in the excavation industry don’t end there. He spent his younger years working alongside and learning from his father, who shared secrets of the trade that he gathered throughout his 40 years as an excavation veteran. Starting his own excavation company, Doug has made BlackRock his own and has proven his expertise after being named a 206 Orange County Rising Star.
